Keep the Door Locked Camera Check Order
Checking feeds in the same order reduces missed clues when a knock and a room anomaly happen at the same time.
Recommended order
- Front-door camera: identify the visitor and their position.
- Hallway view: look for a second presence or movement.
- Window view: check for a face, movement, or outside threat.
- Bathroom and room state: resolve an indoor anomaly before opening.
- Power and breaker status: treat an unreliable feed as missing evidence.
Decision rule
A clear door feed does not prove the room is safe. If any feed is unavailable or conflicts with the rule, pause the door decision and keep it locked.
